How my digipak/digipak advert link to my video
My digipak/advert link to my video because similar images are used that feature in the video. For example the front cover of Camden and the avert image link because the video is partly filmed there. The busy Camden street in both ancillary task represent the actors busy lifestyle and how he's balancing school and outside life. Also the outfits that the band are wearing on the inside covers are similar to the outfits worn by the band in the video.
The information on my digipak promotes the 'Bittersweet Symphony' single which we made into our video and another single 'The drugs don't work' which was made into a video. In addition
Therefore i feel we have established a brand identity across the products.
How my digipak links to my digipak advert and vice versa
First of all my digipak and digipak advert follow the conventions of real digipaks and adverts. Similar images are used on both products, the colors are consistent throughout both ancillary tasks along with the font used. I feel that it is appropriate for our target audience because its interesting and expresses the genre of the song and band really well. Hopefully fans of the original artist will like it too.
